Shine On! Young Leaders Rising

 

Shine On! is a vibrant student-driven and student-led board, sponsored by Minneapolis Public Schools Community Education. The existing website, unfortunately, lacked user-friendliness, leading to waning enthusiasm among students for writing and sharing editorials. To revitalize the platform, we undertook a complete redesign, drawing inspiration from the reimagined logo and infusing brighter colors throughout.

 

Our target demographic, which thrives on visuals, became our focal point. Embracing this preference, we crafted a photo-centric layout that keeps students engaged and inspired. Additionally, we introduced an essential element missing from the previous site – a dynamic forum. This interactive space empowers student leaders to foster community connections with an efficient, social media-like approach. The result is a captivating blog site that rekindles the passion for creative expression and collaborative dialogue.
