Now, Dr. Fairway has decided to take on a new adventure in her practice by serving a group of characters all from a single mind. In this case, it is her very own creator, Miki Starr. ABOUT THE CREATION OF PSYCHO:
Psycho is a fictitious experience like no other. Born in 2009, during a brief lull in Miki Starr’s workday as a Graphic Designer, it quickly expanded into a 12-week web series after receiving numerous positive comments on its note on Facebook. Miki seized the opportunity for self promotion without hesitation. There was no plot, no plan, no outline. Each webisode was freestyled on the day it was due to post with many of the characters in the tale being inspired by the author’s real world family, friends, fans, and colleagues and experiences from the past week.
Miki Starr never had any intentions of moving beyond the 12-weeks/webisodes. However, with the strong encouragement of Dr. Nicci Fairway’s fans, the author dedicated six-months in 2010 to the completion and publication of the tale. A lighthearted story of family, friends, love and heartbreak that delves deep into the demented psyche of its author [who, in her own arrogance, makes a cameo or two!].
