The mission of PROJECT STARR is to impact the lives of young women who may have become sexually active or who may be considering becoming sexually active and not only educate them on the value of safe sex practices (including abstinence), but also helping to open the lines of communication between mothers and their daughters.
To teach young women that when it comes to their body, they do have a choice and a voice and encourage them to treasure their worth by maintaining their virtue. If they have not chosen to abstain from sex, challenging young women to make wise decisions and protect themselves.
Ultimately, to create a sisterhood that reaches beyond the boundaries of a young woman’s home and immediate community, providing alternatives when the women in their lives are not an option by providing positives examples of how to be a woman (mentorship).
Escape into pure bliss with Chante’s Song, the debut novel by Donneil D. Jackson, tests the boundaries of love when a woman must choose between the man she loves and the man that loves her.
About Chante’s Song
Chante Chambers is a self-proclaimed princess. She has it all: looks, a body women would pay for, a great career, all the material items a girl could want plus some…all if this maintained by her ex, Jason. Whatever mama wants, Jason makes sure mama gets. The one task he failed at was being faithful. With a toss of a Gucci pump Jason was history. Or so she thought.
In a pursuit for love, happiness, and monogamy sometimes mistaken for sex, Chante encounters an array of men, whom if you took the best traits from them all and combined them, it still didn’t create the perfect man. Just as Chante was ready to admit defeat in her quest for love, settle for a battery-operated appliance, and give in to the bottle of brown juice in walks a caramel Adonis.
Chante's new found love has the potential of being a lifelong love affair. Yet a lunch hour spent in between the sheets with a certain ex complicates things, as thoughts of starting their love anew begin running through her mind. What's a girl to do when she's torn between two lovers? Does she grab her panties off the floor and vow to never drop them again? Or does she go back for seconds?

From the twisted mind of author Miki Starr Martin comes the story of pyschotherapis Nicollet Madison Fairway who is charged with the responsibility of treating fictitious characters. Problem is, they don't seem to want to be helped.
Synopsis: Dr. Nicollet Madison Fairway is a fictitious psychotherapist straight out the mind of authoress Miki Starr Martin. Problem is - she doesn't realize it. Dr. Fairway has created a very lucrative business counseling fictitious characters through a system that has been dubbed, The Fairway Method. She's been very successful in her treatment of many very notable fictitious characters from Eric Jerome Dickey's character Arizona, to the late Alex Haley's character Ruthana, and many other's in between.
Now, Dr. Fairway has decided to take on a new adventure in the healing of fictional characters - creating a group containing all characters of one author, in this case her very own creator, Miki Starr. Unfortunately this is a much greater undertaking than the good doctor could have ever suspected. Between the troubles between her and her own family, a family filled with arrogant self-serving doctors, and her bickering clients, Dr. Fairway is doing all that she can to hold on to her own sanity while trying to help her clients find a piece of their own.
